The Frame

The Frame:  Core Values of Two Wheel Observer

Two Wheel Observer is the culmination of years of blogging beginning with a trip to London, followed by a flurry of other projects consisting of self reflection and video games.

The title and theme of this blog is two fold, in that on its surface it obviously displays my affection for biking, but has a meaning that lies beneath as well.

First, I chose the title "Two Wheel Observer" to signify my obsession with movement.  I dislike staying in one place whether it be my body, job, ethics, education, or goals.  I believe that we all have a duty to constantly strive for self improvement and that can only be accomplished by moving forward.

Second, the title reflects my preference for watching what is happening around me, rather than actually being the event itself.  While this approach to life periodically has its limitations, it is my personal style to play the game strategically, rather than in the thick of the action.  I find this allows me to make logical decisions regarding events that take place around me and to make reasonable choices and observations given the circumstances.  Hopefully that comes through via this blog.

Thanks for reading and I appreciate any feedback.  Unless it is bad, then keep it to yourself.
